A Helpful Guide to Android Phones

I replaced my Blackberry with a new DROID X back in October, and I love it!

The link below has some helpful info for those of you who have recently received Android phones as holiday gifts:
The Complete Android Guide - Complete Guides

There's also a world of free apps out there, which I hope to write about in the new year. Until then, I have two words - Angry Birds.

Tungle Scheduling App

Tungle Scheduling App Now Available As A Free Download | CrackBerry.com
"While many other options exist, Tungle makes it rather easy to organize and schedule meetings. All of which is wrapped up in a nice, functional UI."
From the Tungle web site:
"Tungle.me is a free personal scheduling application that makes scheduling meetings easy – across companies, calendar systems and time zones – by automatically preventing double bookings, adjusting for time zones and eliminating the endless back and forth emailing of finding a time to meet."
Besides that, it has really cool colors!

I'm Walking for MS

If you would like to help support the National MS Society, I will be walking in Walk MS NY tomorrow. You can make a donation at
http://main.nationalmssociety.org/goto/carolm2010

I've registered for Walk MS because I want to put my marathon-walking legs to more good use, and do something for several of my friends who have been diagnosed with MS. I walk because I can, and because I want to do everything to prevent more people from learning what it means to live with this disease.

Where’s My Phone?

From BlackberryChick.com
http://blackberrychick.com/news/wheres-my-phone/
"Essare, LLC has developed a fantastic app for those that suffer from a bit of forgetfulness when it comes to their phone. "Where's My Phone" (WMP) helps users find and recover their phone whether it was left behind in a taxi or lost underneath that pile of laundry on the bed. Users will never have to worry about misplacing their phone with this easy to use app.

WMP monitors the user's email account (BlackBerry Internet Service or BlackBerry Enterprise Server) for a "code word" and command" in the subject line of the email. The code word  and command triggers an alarm and a message is displayed on the phone.

There is a free and a pro version of this app."

I Have Just Reached a Whole New Level of Geek...

I've installed WordPress on my life coaching web site, and am now hosting my own blog without anything self-destructing in the process:
Living Joyfully

This takes my geekiness to an entirely new level. Be afraid. Be very afraid!
